WESTON Aerobic Gymnastic Club held their seventh annual display and presentation evening at The Potteries, and over 120 proud parents watched routines ranging from the youngest gymnasts starting out at age three, right the way through to International medallists. The awards were presented by the British squad team manager, Martine Griffiths and went to: Reserve gymnast of the year, Dani Lintern; gymnast of the year, Katrina Rose; reserve most improved, Emma Berry; most improved, Sadie Berry, Rachel Harvey, Kat Saunders; outstanding team spirit, Kat Saunders. Most attended sat babies, Ellie Hayes; most attended sat juniors, Claudia Harris; most attended Tuesday rec, Ashley Clark; most attended Tuesday development, Harlan Chapman Green; most attended Thursday development, Jackson Buller; most attended elite squad, Kirsty Harvey.Martine commented on the depth and quality of talent in the gymnasts of the club and the commitment of the coaches to train them to the high levels they are achieving.The evening raised over £700 for club funds, which will be used to train more coaches to an even higher level.
