Weston Aerobic Gymnastics member Molly Brown has been awarded the Welsh gymnast of the year title for the second year running.

Weston Aerobic Gymnastics member Molly Brown was selected as Welsh gymnast of the year (non Olympic) for the second year running.

At the glittering awards ceremony in Cardiff, the team were delighted to see Molly rewarded for her hard work and dedication. She has proven to be a very successful aerobic gymnast this year by being selected to represent Great Britain for Group 1 Trio.

This is her third year representing her country in this discipline. She has attended the following competitions this year and been awarded medals at each one.

They include - The Southern Region - Group 1 Trio (gold). The Welsh - Group 1 Trio (gold); Group 1 - five-team (gold). The five-team were also awarded a trophy for best performance of the competition.

The Slovakian Open - Group 1 Trio (silver). Portuguese World Cup - Group 1 Trio (bronze). Heathrow International - Group 1 Trio (gold); Group 1 five-team (gold). The British - Group 1 trio (gold); Group 1 five-team (gold). Hungarian Championship - Group 1 trio (silver).

Molly is a dedicated, hard-working gymnast always striving to achieve better results, while maintaining good grades at school. Her attitude to the sport has also shown integrity and commitment.

Molly also gives up her time to help coach young up-and-coming gymnasts at the club.
