Woodland Tennis Club ladies have been sponsored by Bloxham & Barlow for the new season.

Woodland Tennis Club’s ladies completed their pre-season training in some style by modelling their new tennis strip.

It was kindly sponsored by Bloxham and Barlow and Chris Bloxham came along with club chairman Les Treen to wish the ladies success in their matches.

Club secretary Annie Buckingham was delighted with the new attire. She said: “We have a very close group of ladies at the club who enjoy competing and the new strip just adds to their sense of closeness and team spirit.”

Woodland has three teams in the North Somerset League and is always on the lookout for more players. There will be an open day on May 26 with a 50 per cent discount on subscriptions for new members.
