Cheddar Tennis Club is holding an open day on Saturday at their courts at Sharpham Road.

WITH Wimbledon just around the corner, Cheddar Tennis Club is holding an open day on Saturday.

Children of all ages from four years old and adults of any age can come along, see the facilities at the club and have some fun on court.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, an experienced player or someone who hasn’t played for years, the club has opportunities for all.

On Saturday, the club’s professional coach Stephen Pearce, will be giving tennis tips and organising fun games on court, while club members will be on hand to provide information about the club. All equipment will be provided, so just wear trainers and sports clothing.

The club is offering membership discounts to new members who join over the weekend so, whether you are looking for coaching, social tennis or match play there is no better time to come along.

The open day is at the club’s courts at Sharpham Road playing fields, Cheddar; 9-11am for four to 10-year-olds, 11.15am-12.30pm for 11-16-year-olds and 2.30-4pm for adults.
