Weston Athletic Club’s Phil Tomlinson is to compete at the Ironman World Championships in the Austrian Alps.

PHIL Tomlinson of Weston Athletic Club, will compete at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship next month following his tremendous performance at the Ironman 70.3 UK Exmoor event last weekend.

Phil is a seasoned triathlete with years of experience and hard training under his race belt. His dedication to his pre-race preparation saw him complete the Exmoor race in 5.28.54 and an impressive seventh place in his age category.

This result gave him automatic qualification as a Great Britain age grouper athlete to compete at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in the Austrian Alps at the end of August.

Phil will join more than 1,800 athletes from all over the world who have qualified from participation in other 70.3 Ironman events across the globe this season.
