Tribute Division 3 South championship winners Weston Wanderers received the shield at the club dinner.

Weston Wanderers were rewarded when the players and managers received the Tribute Division 3 South Shield from Somerset RFU.

The Wanderers, managed by Tony Bush and James Tuohy, only lost two games during the season, with more than 60 players taking part and accumulated more than 1,000 points.

At the club dinner, Tuohy and Harry Bush presented awards to Dan Denning for player of the year and players’ player, and awards were presented to Somerset referee Paul Burns for making himself available during the season.

Club chairman Barry Sparks received an award for playing again this season at the age of 64 and always available to assist the opposition when short of players. Assistant manager Tuohy received an award for his hard work during the season.
