hurchill Academy student Vijay Rajacholan is celebrating after passing his second dan black belt examination.

Fifteen-year-old Churchill Academy student Vijay Rajacholan is celebrating after passing his second dan black belt examination.

Vijay has been learning karate for 10 years at the Henshou Isshinryu Karate Acedemy, under Sensei Rajacholan Gunapalan, from the Congresbury branch and a fourth dan and guidance from Renshi, O’Sensei Cholan and O’Sensei Pandian.

Vijay said: “Since receiving my first dan black belt, I have been dedicated to karate, which has improved my wellbeing greatly. I am very pleased to have achieved this success and am proud to be a part of the Henshou Isshinryu Karate Academy.”
