Weston’s boxing prospect signs on as a professional

Dan Sabastonelli has joined Weston’s Dynamite professional boxing team after getting the green light from the British Boxing Board of Control.

Weston’s Dynamite professional boxing team situated at WAMA in Sunnyside Road North, have signed Dan Sabastonelli, a former Weston ABA boxer.

Dan, aged 26, has been in training for the last year or so with Stuart Davies at Dynamite Boxing Gym and feels now is the time to pursue his dream as a professional boxer.

Due to work commitments, Dan has had a couple of years out and now with the right team behind him is ready to take to the pro boxing ranks. Davies, a professional boxing promoter/trainer was pleased to attended Dan’s interview in London to get the green light from the British Boxing Board of Control. Weston’s Matthew Slater will also be managing Dan to get him the right fights.

Stuart said: “We are really pleased to have Dan on the books as a pro boxer, he is a Weston lad through and through with a bright future.”

New professional boxing trainer applicants Neil Walker, Kevin Brier, Matt Boxall and Paul Hill, will also play a part in the new focused drive to deliver a home-grown professional boxing show on November 18, called Battle on the Beach 3 on the Grand Pier.

Team Dynamite is actively looking to sign more professional boxers from all over the region and further afield.
