Juniors from Woodland Tennis Club celebrated the last coaching session in style, dressing up in their festive best.

Woodland Lawn Tennis Club celebrated the last Saturday junior session before Christmas in style.

Dressed in their festive best, the juniors played their favourite games on court while treating themselves to hot dogs and cakes during the breaks.

Dodge ball and Ghost in the Graveyard proved to me most popular activities, while prizes were given for longest rallies and precision forehands. The fastest forehand in the starter group came in at 36mph.

There was also a raffle in aid of new coaching balls and a spectacular £252 was raised.

The next junior event is the Christmas coaching course on December 28 and 29. For more information on this or the club in general, visit the website at www.woodlandtennisclub.co.uk or contact membership secretary Jenny Purcell on 07725 890656.
