Zaneta claims three gold medals representing Great Britain

Members from Kajukenbo Martial Arts Club represented Great Britain and brought home five gold medals.

Kajukenbo Martial Arts Club flew out to Portugal last week to one of the largest events on the globe to participate and represent Great Britain.

In an extremely successful trip, the club brought home 11 medals in total - Zaneta Palakova: three golds in Kata including hard forms and soft forms; Lukáš Čikovský - gold in self-defence; Filip Baranik - silver in self-defence demonstration, bronze in Karate Kumite points contact, bronze in semi-contact; Adam Fabiszak - bronze in self-defence demonstration, silver in semi-contact; Wayne Bird - bronze in Karate Kumite; Chris Walkey - gold in semi-contact.
