A WHEELY great time was had by members of a South West group in Weston at the weekend.

A total of 180 Inner Wheel ladies descended on the resort on Sunday.

They were responding to a request by national association president Pam Byford that all districts put on a public show on the theme of ‘the wheel’.

So, members of the district covering Weston to Weymouth and Bath to Minehead took on the challenge.

They took over the Wheel of Weston, with the tourist information service giving members vouchers to spend in town and the Grand Pier supplying them with a hot drink.
