I FOUND it interesting reading about Cllr David Evans' New Approach Party. I wish him and his party well and every success. However I have to say that some of his comments tend to conflict: "The people of North Somerset and Weston are disillusioned with the way district authorities are being run. "I feel this is the right time to start working with the people of Weston and surrounding areas."This seems to be a complete U-turn on comments he made in your issue dated October 13 saying "I don't care what they think in Clevedon, it is about time we had some councillors who will fight tooth and nail to get what the town wants. "I don't care what they think in Portishead or Clevedon, what we want is councillors backing local schemes."In the space of four-five weeks, Cllr Evans has changed his mind from solely representing the people of Weston to now wanting to represent the whole district. Would somebody ask him who he will actually be representing?LINDA STANTONArundell Road, Weston
