Disastrous for Weston

I HAVE been staying with a friend in Weston (which I love) for a while and have been following local news in The Mercury, particularly details of the council move to Clevedon. From what I can see this move would be disastrous for Weston.

I notice that a petition against the move has been started http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/keepwestonjobs/

I hope all you good people of Weston sign it.

I read the column by your MP who says that in most parts of the county many voters seem supportive of the move. I'm not surprised! The other areas of the county all seem to be better served by your council and in my opinion Weston is definitely short-changed.

I suppose the only thing you can do (as well as sign the petition) is to show your displeasure of the Conservative decision makers at the general and local elections.
