WHEN I open my copy of the Weston Mercury, I know I am going to read informative, relevant and interesting articles. I am not going to have the nasty shock I had the other day when I opened a recent copy of the Weston and Worle News. This newspaper arrives at my home uninvited, and feels that it is appropriate to print a report on page three of a local woman who provides dehumanising activities for financial gain. I dread to think how many children read this article, describing in detail perverted and pathetic activities, which some sad people think are worth paying for. To me, the article seemed like a large promotion for these activities, and perhaps it has encouraged others to try their hand at this sickening trade, and make some 'easy money'.What people need to realise is that if you engage in degrading behaviours, it's going to have an effect on your psyche. And, personally, I wouldn't want to share a home with someone who pays to be treated violently. How sick can you get?Let's be proud of Weston and not promote dungeon activities, and let's also be thankful for a newspaper like the Mercury, which respects its readership and acts responsibly.JANET AND DAVID BROWN - Cornwallis Avenue, Worle
