I WRITE with reference to a report on page 5 of the Mercury on December 17 and, in particular, the statement that I did not respond to questions regarding North Somerset Council's proposed move to the Clerical Medical building in Clevedon.

I WRITE with reference to a report on page 5 of the Mercury on December 17 and, in particular, the statement that I did not respond to questions regarding North Somerset Council's proposed move to the Clerical Medical building in Clevedon.

Why did you print an out-right lie? In your paper of December 10 is my photo with my reply - so how can you print on December 17 such a blatant statement?

I have already worked with your reporters on help for ward issues, community issues etc, but after this I have lost respect for your paper, and any communication from any reporter will be met with just two words of "no comment".
