NEARLY 300 votes were cast to select these expert winning photographs during a Weston club’s summer exhibition.

A1 Camera Club displayed members’ work at Weston Museum earlier this month, and invited visitors to the exhibition to vote for their favourites.

Jonathan Bailey’s atmospheric portrait was selected as the official judges’ winner, while Peter Ottley’s lively mono at Knightstone Causeway won the people’s vote.

Club spokesman Andrew Thompson said: “Overall, 296 votes were cast by the public and the exhibition visited by more than 300 people during the eight days.

“We consider it to have been a great success, with the £114.89 raised for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance an added bonus.”
