A Norwegian artist will have her work shown at a Weston art gallery in February.

Anne Helene left Norway when she was 18, and travelling, marrying and raising four children thwarted her plans to enrol in a school for fine art.

But 30 years later, she graduated from Weston College and started to fulfil her artistic ambitions.

Her work will be shown at the LT Gallery in Orchard Street in an exhibition called Soul Reflections.

Gallery owner Laura Tucker said Anne’s work is personal, and sometimes uplifting and troubling.

Laura said: “As Anne Helene continues exploring new techniques and styles, Soul Reflections is the latest staging post on a deeply personal journey.”

Anne Helene’s work will be shown from February 1-20 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-4pm, and on Thursdays from noon to 7pm. A drinks evening will take place on February 4 from 4-7pm.
