Studio artist to exhibit work at Weston’s Old Town Quarry

An artist will be showcasing her work in Weston over the next few days.

Sara Parsons, who has a studio in Cheddar, will be exhibiting her paintings, drawings and sculptures at the Old Town Quarry.

The show began on Friday and will run until December 7.

Sara said: “I am a practicing artist who paints, draws or sculpts on a daily basis to address an essential work ethic and to maintain a creative flow besides not being able to stop.

“I have has a studio in Cheddar where I teach ceramics and art, as well as creating my own work.”

The art she is exhibiting shows a breadth of interests, including her passion for vibrant colours.

Sara said: “I have a strong feeling and control of form, and some of my work displays a real playfulness.”

The art exhibition will be open every day from 10.30am-4.30pm, with the exception on Monday and Tuesday.
