BANKSY, Warhol and a host of urban art is set to go on show at a new exhibition in Weston this month.

Jamie Scanlon’s Apocalypse exhibition will see four original Andy Warhol pieces on show alongside other works from national and international artists such as STIK, Mason Storm and Banksy.

Mr Scanlon, known as JPS, has overcome a 12-year battle with drink and drugs to become an artist, and earned the title of Bizarre magaine’s alternative artist of the year 2012.

The new show is being billed as Weston’s biggest exhibition of urban art since JPS’ previous show, Resurrection.

The opening night will be attended by 10 hostesses to assist with the running of the show, as well as Terry Sue Pat from classic TV show Grange Hill, who is also exhibiting some of his own work.

The exhibition will be open from December 12 at 7.30pm at Regent Studio in Oxford Place with an after-party at Loft nightclub.

It will be open daily to the public thereafter, from 9am-4pm until December 24.
