Beer festival returns to Burnham

BURNHAM Beer Festival will make its return to the town this week.

Sponsored by local businesses, this event is sure to attract a host of real ale devotees as it runs over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

The festival will be held at The Ritz, in Victoria Street, and will include live music throughout the weekend, including 1980s band The Reflex.

This event will feature an array of real ales such as Cheddar ale Totty Pot and a selection of farmhouse ciders and European bottled beers.

Food will be available throughout the event and activities including a skittles competition, traditional pub games and a raffle will also be organised for the day to raise money for the Burnham Area Rescue Boat (BARB) and the RNLI.
