WORLD-renowned choreographer Matthew Bourne will be opening his UK tour in Bath to celebrate 25 successful years in dance.
Showcasing the triple bill which launched his career, his tour of Early Adventures will show the audience of Bath his most acclaimed productions.
The show will be featured at Bath’s Theatre Royal from Wednesday until May 12 prior to the group’s UK tour and London season.
Matthew Bourne’s Early Adventures includes the shows Spitfire, Town and Country and The Infernal Galop, a triple bill of the works combining wit, style and sheer entertainment.
Matthew Bourne said: “Early Adventures sees the company return to its roots to help celebrate our 25th anniversary.
“All of the pieces on this programme were created with a desire to entertain and to share some of the music and cultural icons that I grew up loving. I’m excited to have the rare chance to revive this work again and hope that audiences will enjoy seeing how the company started out and come and celebrate with us.”
The show will be on stage at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £19-33.50, are available from the box office on 01225 448844.
