Call for artists to join festival

AN ART group is inviting clubs, schools, nurseries and other artists to take part in making a sculpture for a festival which will take place next month.

Highbridge and Burnham Artists (HaBA) will make a sculpture for their Denizens of the Deep Festival in Apex Park on July 14.

The underwater theme means that there is a wide range of creatures to design and build. It could be something that lurks deep in the seas around us or in distant oceans.

HaBA can offer advice and support if required, but the projects would need to be self funded and will need to be meet its health and safety criteria.
