Josie Long will make a stop in Bristol as part of her eighth solo stand-up tour this weekend in what is sure to be an uplifting and hilarious performance.

The 34-year-old is no stranger to the stage and presents the documentary Short Cuts on Radio 4.

She has also recently made television appearances on Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central and Dara O’Briain’s Go 8 Bit. For this show, she is focusing on a host of different issues, including Long’s battle to be happy with who she is and start making things happen for herself.

Her style is relatable and sometimes even a bit silly but it is sure to make for an entertaining evening.

Josie Long will perform her Something Better show at The Tobacco Factory, in Raleigh Road, on Sunday at 4pm. Tickets, priced £15.50, are available by calling 01179 020060.
