Ellie Taylor set for Somerset stage

A top-quality comedian who presented a popular BBC show will take to a Somerset stage in the new year.

Ellie Taylor will perform at Bridgwater’s McMillan Theatre, in Lower Bath Road, on February 8 at 7.30pm.

Taylor fronted the BBC Three show Snog Marry Avoid?, which saw fakery-obsessed people given a ‘makeunder’, before being showcased to the public to see which look was better.

Since the show ended due to the reshuffle of BBC’s channels, Taylor has focussed more on her stand-up performances, which have earned critical acclaim.

Her latest show, This Guy, explores married life in your 30s, with every other person asking the uncomfortable question of if a baby is in the pipeline.

The show debuted at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, earning high praise.
