‘Hilarious’ Jethro in Weston

PUBLISHED: 09:00 17 July 2015 | UPDATED: 10:21 17 July 2015

CORNISH comedian Jethro is set to delight audience members next month when he brings his ‘irreverent’ comedy to The Playhouse’s stage.

Armed with nothing more than a microphone, Jethro – who has been performing for more than 20 years after starting out in Cornish comedy clubs – paints hilarious pictures in the minds of his audiences. Fans argue he has gained cult status among the British public.

A spokesman for The Playhouse said: “More than four million DVD sales pay testimony to the size and dedication of Jethro’s army of followers and their love of the unpredictable, irreverent twaddle which reduces audiences to tears of laughter.”

Jethro will be at The Playhouse, in High Street, on August 20 at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £21, are available from the box office on 01934 645544 or online here.
