The Tropicana to host Instant Wit

A comedy improvisation company will perform in Weston-super-Mare next month.

Instant Wit will be at the Tropicana in Marine Parade on October 4.

The Bristol-based group uses audience suggestions to act out and improvise silly scenes.

Good suggestions are rewarded with a packet of custard while the best one receives a bottle of wine at the end of the night.

An Instant Wit spokesman said: “Many people have seen improvised comedy on TV but remember, this is not recorded and edited, but totally live.

“If you like your comedy fast-paced and with a slightly unusual edge, this is definitely for you.”

The group boasts some of the best local comedy talent, with this Tropicana show involving Peta Maurice, Nik Howden and Knud.

The performance will begin at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £10, are available online.
