Ricky Gervais tickets go on sale tomorrow – but be quick!

Tickets to see one of the biggest names in the history of British comedy perform in the West Country will go on sale tomorrow morning (Friday) – but you’ll have to be quick if you want some.
Ricky Gervais, creator of sitcom classic The Office, is bringing his latest stand-up show to the Colston Hall on January 10.
The performance is a dead-cert to sell out, though, and sell out fast – all 100,000 tickets for his 2007 tour Fame will snapped up within nine minutes of going on sale, making it the fastest-selling UK comedy show of all time.
This time, tickets will go on sale at 10am, and a similarly hectic rush to buy them is expected.
That is because Gervais has built a worldwide fanbase since bursting onto the scene with The Office mockumentary back in 2001.
His king of cringe David Brent has since returned in a follow-up series and several specials, before 2016’s David Brent: Life On The Road movie.
In between, Gervais has penned and starred in further series, Extras and Derek, worked on a US version of The Office and several movies, and won widespread acclaim with his stand-up work too.
He has dabbled in music too, with the release of a David Brent album, and launched his Special Correspondents on Netflix.
All of this has earned him three Golden Globe awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and seven BAFTAs.
Now he is returning to stand-up with his new tour Humanity, which promises more of his trademark acerbic humour.
He is due to perform at the Colston Hall in Bristol on January 10, with doors opening at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £34.94 including a booking fee, and will go on sale at www.colstonhall.org at 10am tomorrow (Friday).
