Over the bank holiday weekend more than 35 comedy geniuses will take the Somerset city of Wells by storm across four different venues.

Stars from Have I Got News For You, Live At The Apollo and Mock The Week will perform to hundreds.

The Wells Comedy Festival is working with Brothers Cider to deliver a bigger and better year than ever before.

Wells Comedy Festival founder Ben Williams said: “The festival is nearly doubling in size compared to 2016, with more than 4,500 tickets on sale, and I could not be happier with the line-up. Here’s to another successful year.”

The opening gala of the Wells Comedy Festival will be at the Little Theatre, in Chamberlain Street, from May 26-28.

Tickets, priced £6-16, are available, along with full details of the shows and venues, log on to www.wellscomfest.com
