A top-quality British comedian has announced his return to a South West stage next year, promising fans a night of surreal and unforgettable laughs.

Stand-up star Ross Noble will perform at the Bristol Hippodrome, in St Augustines Parade, on October 16, 2018.

Noble is one of the country’s top funny men, having spent almost 20 years delighting crowds with his weird and wonderful humour.

The El Hablador tour, which translates to ‘the speaker’ and will see Noble perform a whopping 67 shows across the country, promises a night of nonsense certain to leave the audience in stitches.

Noble will tour off the back of a stint on London’s West End, where he has received critical acclaim for his role as Igor in Mel Brooks’ play Young Frankenstein, but his return to stand-up is eagerly anticipated given his impressive reputation amassed over a long and successful career.

Ten years ago Noble was given high praise by Channel 4, which ranked him in the top 10 stand-up comedians of all time, and his stage shows are always a sell-out smash.

The long-haired Geordie has also forged an incredibly successful television career, making regular performances on comedy shows, including 16 appearances on the BBC’s Have I Got News For You – a record number for guest panellists.

Much of the Newcastle-born performer’s material is improvised; displaying his immense wit in serving up hilarious performances largely based on heckles from audiences.

It says much for Noble’s natural talent making people laugh, with him once revealing the planning of an entire show entails scribbling ‘about four words on a piece of scrap paper’, and nothing more.

No two Ross Noble shows are the same, due to the randomness involved in how he performs.

So much so that he once said: “If you see me in the street in a week’s time, I won’t remember anything I talked about tonight.”

So do not miss out on this opportunity to spend a night basking thin the bizarre world of Noble, where the almost anything could be poked fun at.

Tickets for this show, priced £32, are available from ATG Tickets on 08448 713012 www.atgtickets.com
