Show Me The Funny runner-up Dan Mitchell is looking forward to returning to Weston later this month.

The Welsh comic has appeared in Weston once before and has been described as ‘absolutely brilliant’ by regular TV panellist Ross Noble.

Dan has said that Weston is at the top of his list of gigging locations as it is ‘so much fun to play’.

Event organiser and compere Alan Holloway describes the funnyman as ‘one of the best comics in the game today’.

He added that he is glad that Dan prefers to entertain at a more grassroots level after his ITV success as he can still afford to book him.

He has performed at a whole host of venues from the Green Man Festival where he was critically acclaimed, to a strip-joint where he was booed off stage, describing the buzz of stand-up as being ‘like nothing else’.

Dan will play Coles Kitchen on July 16, with the evening’s showcase commencing at 7.45pm.

Tickets cost £10 per person which includes a meal and a bill of at least five stand-up acts.

They are available in advance from Coles Kitchen on West Street and can be reserved on 01934 707190.
