FAIRYTALE favourites Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs will come to The Playhouse Theatre in Weston this month.

The award-winning Ballet Cymru company will bring the production to the High Street venue on May 23.

The production is an adaptation of two popular Roald Dahl stories, which will be delivered in an original ballet adaptation.

Ballet Cymru has been granted permission by The Dahl Foundation to produce the works, which are based on sections of the author’s Revolting Rhymes.

Audiences can expect an imaginative evening with explosive dance, classical ballet, stunning costumes, humour and music from composer Paul Patterson.

The show will feature choreography by Creative Wales Award-winner Darius James and sets and costumes by internationally-recognised designer Steve Denton.

Since its formation in 1986 Ballet Cymru has used young dancers to interpret literary classics and favourites, performing at about 50 venues across the UK each year.
