But one day he misses his train and meets Lucinda Harris (Aniston), and his life is changed forever. Lucinda is charming, beautiful and seductive. Despite the fact that each are married with children, their attraction to one another is magnetic. Lunch dates quickly become cocktails after work, and before long, Charles and Lucinda's infatuation leads them to a hotel room. Their seemingly perfect affair goes terribly awry though when LaRoche (Vincent Cassel), a brutal stranger, breaks into their room and holds them at gunpoint. This once illicit liaison turns into a nightmare more dangerous and violent than either could have ever imagined.Charles' life soon becomes filled with deception, blackmail, violence and crime. Unable to confide in his wife or speak to the police, Charles finds himself trapped in a world he doesn't recognise, with no trace of the life he once knew.Exploring the repercussions of making one terrible mistake that can change someone's life entirely, Derailed promises to provide some real edge-of-the-seat moments.n If you fancy seeing Jennifer in one of her more accustomed roles, you may fancy taking a look at Rumour Has It (12A).Director Rob Reiner has put together a great cast for this light-hearted comedy, with Kevin Costner in fine form as an internet millionaire and Shirley MacLaine proving she has still got screen presence by the bucket load.Aniston plays Sarah Huttinger, a woman whose life is in a tailspin. To top it all off, she is on her way home to attend her sister's wedding, which means spending a lot of time with her family. But Sarah, a bit of a black sheep, has never quite felt part of things when it comes to her relatives. And her life really takes a dramatic turn when she meets Beau Burroughs (Costner). Their encounter unexpectedly unlocks some well-kept secrets that may help Sarah uncover the truth about her family and finally discover who she truly is.
