AN ANNUAL martial arts spectacular will return to Weston next week. The organisers of Fightclub will once again showcase top

AN ANNUAL martial arts spectacular will return to Weston next week.The organisers of Fightclub will once again showcase top local and world class fighters who are experts in kickboxing, Thai boxing and mixed martial arts.The event will feature the return of Weston's former world amateur champion and current pro IKF and WUMA European champion Matt Martin. Matt will take on Darren Forrest, who will be appearing in his 100th fight.Matt, who has been training with Weston Warriors team coach Stuart Davies, is determined to maintain his unbeaten record as a pro kickboxer so fight fans can look forward to a thrilling head-to-head contest.The Fightclub line-up will be packed with Weston Warrior gym fighters, and there will also be demonstrations by Bristol's MMA star, Kevin O'Hagan, and the Brazilian capoara team.The event takes place on June 2 at the Hornets Rugby Club and there will also be a barbecue, beer tent and stalls including one featuring promotional vehicles from BMW's Formula One racing team.
