A Halloween family fun day will be held in Weston this weekend.

The Helicopter Museum, near Locking, will have a ghastly, and ghostly, offering for families visiting on Sunday.

Marketing assistant Shaly Dee said: “We have planned a really diverse itinerary of entertainment throughout the day.

“There will be a very exciting Halloween-themed live magic show with a very special surprise, snake handling displays, owls and a wealth of creepy crawlies to hold courtesy of Bugfest.

“For our younger visitors we have balloon modelling, a fancy dress competition and musical statue games taking place in the hangar whilst we dare our more mature visitors to brave the confines of our best-ever Halloween walk-through complete with oubliette and unique chopper in a chopper display.”

A Star Wars-themed simulator will also be in operation and a variety of popular characters from stage and screen will also greet visitors.

The fun day is on Sunday and entry is free for children.
