Healing weekend in store

NOW in its fourth year, The Healing Weekend at Secret World Wildlife Rescue in East Huntspill will be held from July 6-8 and promises to be even bigger and better.

There will be more than 170 exhibitors, about 90 workshops, plus lots of music, performances and shows to enjoy.

New for 2012, children will love visiting the fairies, pixies and pirates in The Enchanted Kingdom for a host of magical fun, games and workshops, plus weekend lunchtime shows with international children’s entertainer Scotty, whose music can be heard on CBeebies every day.

There will also be lots of healers and therapists available for taster sessions covering a great range of therapies. There are also two evening shows on the Friday, a night of music and song, with special guests Touch the Earth with Tribal Unity, Barbara Meiklejohn Free, Flavia Kate Peters, Keith Shadowhawk Adams, Neil H, Dance artist Katie Holland and Matthew Callow.

On Saturday, the evening of clairvoyance welcomes Barbara Meiklejohn Free, Patrick Gamble, Bernie Wright, Lynne Round, Greg Smith and Elaine Fenton, as well as guest appearances from Steve Judd and Spiritual Surgery and Healing with Quintin Smith.

The event opens at 10am daily, and admissions costs £5, with workshop passes available for £5.
