JOIN Jack Sparrow in his quest for the fabled Fountain of Youth with the latest instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean film series to be shown in cinemas nationwide from this week.

Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides is an incredible venture that takes him to new horizons and puts him up against mermaids, zombies, new adversaries as well as the infamous Blackbeard.

It is the fourth instalment in the hugely-popular series of films and is being shown in 2D or 3D.

Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Rob Marshall, this latest story captures the fun, adventure and humour that ignited the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

Johnny Depp returns to his iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow in an action-packed tale of truth, betrayal, youth and demise.

When Jack crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), he is not sure if it is love or if she is a ruthless con-artist using him to find the Fountain of Youth.

When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formiddale Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he does not know who to fear the most.

The film’s international cast includes Pirates veterans Geoffrey Rush as Captain Hector Barbossa and Kevin R McNally as Captain Jack’s long-time comrade Joshamee Gibbs.

Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides is now showing at cinemas across the country.
