What happens once you have helped the Avengers save the world? You go back to school, of course... The first new Spider-Man movie sees Peter Parker head back to high school fresh from helping in the Avengers’ civil war.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is out now. Spider-Man: Homecoming is out now.

Spiderman: Homecoming sees Peter Parker long to become an official Avenger, but he needs to balance his studying at school with his new-found super-hero antics.

Despite letting him keep his fancy new suit, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) still treats Spider-Man like a kid.

But when a new villain emerges – a flying menace called The Vulture – Peter finally finds himself an opportunity to prove himself as a true superhero, worthy of standing beside Iron Man.

The latest film to hit the big screen from Marvel sees Tom Holland take on the role of the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man.

The young British star was born in Kingston-Upon-Thames and has been an actor since a young age, having starred in the lead role Billy Elliot on the West End in 2008, when he was just 12 years old.

But Holland has now been thrust into the Hollywood limelight after making his debut as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, which came out last year.
