The Aquinas Piano trio will perform in Churchill in October

A Churchill trio hope to dazzle the crowd at a North Somerset church next month.

Aquinas will return to Churchill to launch St John’s Church’s 26th season with an outstanding programme full of variety and passion.

The piano trio formed in 2009 and has quickly become one of England’s leading ensembles.

It is comprised of violinist Ruth Rogers, cellist Katherine Jenkinson and pianist Martin Cousin, who were collectively described by Gramophone Magazine as being ‘spot-on in interpretative instinct’.

The concert will see the group perform music from the likes of Beethoven, Haydn, Schumann and Mozart and guests should expect a light-hearted evening from one of the village’s biggest success stories.

Aquinas will be at St John’s Church, in Church Lane, on October 14 at 7.30pm. Buy tickets, priced £4-16, from here.
