Bastille to perform in the West Country

An award-winning band which has wowed crowds around the world will come to Bristol next year.

Indie pop favourites Bastille have surfed the wave of international success since their breakthrough in 2014 with their single Pompeii which made number two in the charts.

Since then they have gone from strength to strength with both of their albums, Wild World and Bad Blood, topping the UK Album Chart.

The band formed in 2010 and is made up of lead vocalist Dan Smith, drummer Chris Wood, pianist Kyle Simmons and guitar and bass player Will Farquarson.

Bastille have won six awards for their music, including a Brit Award for best breakthrough act and a Teen Choice Award for their single Pompeii.

Bastille will be at Colston Hall, in Colston Street, at 7pm on April 13.
