A top BBC Radio One DJ and grime music expert is set to showcase his skills on the decks in the South West next month.

Charlie Sloth will take to the stage at Bristol’s O2 Academy, in Frogmore Street, on October 15 at 8pm.

The 30-year-old is best known for his work on BBC Radio One Extra, where he hosts six shows every 
week, and delights audiences with his larger-than-life character with an expert knowledge of urban music to boot.

But the DJ is embarking on an exciting new venture an artist and producer

The London-born star recently released debut album The Plug, which is influenced by his love of rap legends NWA.

The record features top urban artists like Stormzy, Giggs and Bugzy Malone, with the later set to join him on tour.
