A North Somerset choir will perform its first concert in Weston-super-Mare this week.

Mixed-voice choir Costanzi Consort, conducted by Uphill musician Peter Leech, will perform Sacred In Salzburg at All Saints’ Church in All Saints Lane at 7.30pm on Saturday (February 10).

The concert will feature sacred choral music from the Austrian city created by composers including the father of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Michael Haydn, younger brother of Joseph Haydn.

Chairman Martin Warren said: “We are greatly looking forward to performing our first concert in All Saints’ Church, where we rehearse weekly.

“The acoustics are perfect for this beautiful music and we hope lots of people are able to come along and enjoy it with us.”

Tickets, priced £12, are available here with a 10 per cent discount on bookings made online.
