Words & Music for Christmas - Rehearsal

A Weston-super-Mare audience can get into the festive spirit with a musical evening at one of the town’s churches.

For more than 30 years, Nona and Bill Clout brought various local stage performers, church choir members and singers together to perform Words And Music during the festive season.

Despite the couples’ death, organisers are keen to continue their legacy.

The night will include Christmas music, songs and, for the first time, readings.

It will also be raising money for the charity Action For Children and all the cash collected will go to the help those youngsters in need.

The evening of merriment will continue after the music finishes as guests are invited to join the performers in the church hall after the show.

Words And Music will be at Victoria Methodist Church, in Station Road, on December 9 at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £5, are available on the door.
