A classical group hope to dazzle a Weston-super-Mare audience at a one-off this week.

The Chamber Philharmonia Cologne have had a successful string of concerts across Europe in 2015 and 2016.

Now they hope to inspire the people of Weston in their latest concert.

The group was founded in Cologne, Germany, and has since gone on to perform more than 300 concerts every year.

The eight musicians combine popular and unknown works to create a new and interesting sound which is suitable for all ages.

They have performed music from the greats like Mozart and Antonio Vivaldi to the less well known work of Sergei Prokofieff and Astor Piazzolla.

The Chamber Philharmonia Cologne will be at All Saints’ Church, in All Saints Road, at 7.30pm on Wednesday.

Tickets, priced £12-16, are available from the Visitor Information Centre at the Tropicana, in Marine Parade.
