An award-winning band will embark on a UK tour to celebrate the release of their newest album.

Danny & The Champions Of The World are back with their sixth album Brilliant Lights and the group hope it will be their best one yet.

The band, which formed in London in 2007, are an alternative country folk, rock and soul band.

Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Danny Wilson, who formerly played for Grand Drive, the band hold improvisation and collaboration close to their hearts.

The band are also well known for their whole-heartened openness and joy in what they do.

Last year the band dominated the inaugural UK Americana Awards, taking home three awards including the UK Artist Of The year.

Danny & The Champions Of The World will be at The Lantern, in Colston Street, at 7.30pm on September 18.
