The Grand Pier will host an Irish-themed night for St Patrick's Day.

St Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and to celebrate Weston-super-Mare’s Grand Pier is hosting its first-ever Irish Dance Night.

Guinness will be flowing on the pier in Marine Parade and there will also be Irish-style cocktails and a hot buffet of Irish-themed food on offer for guests to get into the night’s spirits.

Spill The Whiskey – a five-piece ceilidh dance band – will be performing a selection of Irish songs throughout the evening of March 18.

Event manager at the pier Hollie Otley said: “With St Patrick’s Day celebrating Irish culture all around the world, we didn’t want Weston to miss out.

“So we’ve created a special evening to offer people an Irish-themed night out with a difference.

“Spill The Whiskey will really get everyone in the mood for some Irish dancing, complete with a fun Irish dance lesson for our party-goers to get them in the mood to experience the full Irish craic.

“This is a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy a fun-filled Irish-themed night out here on the pier.”

Doors will open at 7pm and the show will begin at 7.30pm.

Tickets to the event, priced £22.50, are available via www.grandpier.co.uk
