A 1960s icon is making a grand return to the stage with some of his biggest hits.

Gerry And The Pacemakers topped the charts in the UK and United States as they duelled side-by-side with the Beatles to become the best band of the decade.

The group stormed onto the scene with How Do You Do It, I Like It and You’ll Never Walk Alone.

The group disbanded in 1966 but was reformed by Gerry in 1974 and continued to tour worldwide.

Gerry Cross The Mersey is a journey down memory lane for the band, with Gerry performing his greatest hits and telling stories from past tours.

The group will also be joined on stage by comedian Mike Lancaster.

Gerry Cross The Mersey will be at The Playhouse, in High Street, Weston, at 7.30pm on March 16.
