A band which has drawn comparisons with top-class indie pop bands like Vampire Weekend and The Maccabees will showcase their skills on a South West stage next month.

The Night Café will perform at Bristol’s SWX 2, in Nelson Street, on January 27 at 7pm.

The Liverpudlian quartet are know for charming melodic tunes backed by quirky electric guitar solos.

The Night Café are touring off the back of the release of their latest single Turn, which features on their hotly-anticipated second EP.

The record, which is currently untitled and due out in the new year, promises a selection of feel-good up-tempo pop tunes.

The Bristol gig offers a great chance to shake off the January blues with a night of high-energy pop music.

Tickets for this show, priced £8, are available from 01179 450325 or online by logging on to www.swxbristol.com
