Orange Corner, in Regent Street, has been inviting up-and-coming musicians to perform in free shows.

Kitty Macfarlane will be the latest singer to take to the stage.

She has supported the likes of Seth Lakeman, and received national airplay on BBC Radio 2’s Folk Show.

Rich Pegler, from RP Promotions, which is organising the shows, said: “This gig continues our theme of getting up-and-coming original artists in to Weston to play for the public free of charge.

“I truly believe these are musicians you are likely to see at large festivals and big touring circuits in the future, and this is your chance to see them up close and personal before that happens.”

Kitty Macfarlane will perform in Orange Corner tonight. Doors will open at 8pm.

She will be supported by acoustic Phoebe Ann, who is working on her first EP.
