A LEGENDARY musician will take to the stage in Bristol this July.

Roger Daltrey will perform The Who’s legendary Tommy album at the Colston Hall.

Lead singer of the famous group, he will perform the band’s legendary rock opera from start to finish on July 12.

The show, which Daltrey performed recently at the Royal Albert Hall in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, will feature all the hits from the much-loved rock opera, including Pinball Wizard and See Me, Feel Me, alongside a variety of Who classics.

Inducted into The Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998, the 20 million-selling double album also spawned a successful 1975 film of the same name in which Daltrey played the title role.

Joining Daltrey on stage will be Frank Simes (guitar), Scott Deavours

(drums), Jon Button(Bass), Loren Gold (Keyboards) and also on guitar will be Simon Townshend, younger brother of The Who’s guitarist Pete Townshend.

Tickets, priced £40-45, are available from 0117 922 3686 or online at www.colstonhall.org
