MAKING a welcome return to the Portishead Working Men's Club in Slade Road on Saturday night is the Les Watts Request Show.

Les is a very experienced artist forming his first rock 'n' roll band back in 1957 when he was 16.

He retired from band life in 2005 to set out on his current Request Show venture.

Every number performed is requested by members of his audience.

Les has a repertoire of over 500 numbers and is joined by female vocalist Geena, who also has a large list of songs to choose from.

The covers range from oldies to recent chart toppers.

Les will take to the stage around 9pm. Admission for members is £2 and non members £2.50.
